General Information

Dr. David Carter graduated from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a BS in Biology. He then returned to his native Connecticut, where he earned his DMD from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

After completing a one year General Practice Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Carter returned to practice General Dentistry in Connecticut. After eight years of general practice, he returned to Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he earned his certificate in the specialty of Endodontics.

As a board-eligible Endodontist, Dr. Carter is committed to the highest level of patient care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Central Arizona Dental Society and the Arizona Dental Association. He is recognized as a Fellow by the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Carter lives with his wife and two children in Mesa. He enjoys cooking, golf, and most of all, being a dad.

Jennifer is Dr. Carter’s chairside assistant. A Mesa native, she is a graduate of Mountain View High School and the American Institute of Dental Assisting. She will be with you throughout the procedure and will go the extra mile to ensure that your experience in our office is a good one. She is always quick with a joke or a smile, and keeps Dr. Carter on time(and on his toes). 

Jennifer loves cooking, quilting, working with stained glass art and most of all shopping. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends doing any and everything fun the valley has to offer.

Paula is our business manager. She began her career as a dental assistant, receiving her CDA at Ross Medical Education Center in Michigan. After relocating to the valley, she started working in the front office and has enjoyed it ever since. A sports fan, Paula can be found cheering on the Suns and Cardinals or playing basketball or racquetball. She is also an accomplished baker, with experience making everything from chocolate chip cookies to wedding cakes.

Paula is an expert in dental insurance and enjoys helping our patients get the care they need at a cost they can afford.
